So I sat on this ship, was a wonderful trip for flora and fauna,
Takin' a vacay, to see if they had the native marijuana,
Maybe an island or two to find out if you really explore I wonder,
It's hopeful but sad when we find nothing but wind and thunder.
Finally we hit the shore, and more's the pity we stand upon,
This quest is done, we've won, the discovery of the sun,
It beats down on us and keeps us thirsty for more,
So we continue to the other shore.
And we made a fool of ourselves thinking the jungle was fun,
Thought We could take all the lions and tigers and bears since we both had a gun,
As the hours went by we realized we were the only ones,
Made the beach and turned around the job was almost done.
Over time your mind begins to misbehave,
And your thoughts might wander to never being saved,
One more flare, One more fire, One more sign,
And why, was i left behind.
Day 1, built a shelter, found some water supply,
Day 2, rains and washes all my tears dry,
Day 3, The firewood is all gone,
Day 4, I don't think that ill last too long.
You see my partner died on day 5, the meat supply was short,
But now I found a way to keep the salt inside his corpse,
I put a coffin in the sea, water every day,
But who knows how long that he'll last that way.
But fuck it I'm dying, I might as well have a snack,
Wish I had brought some weed so I could just relax,
Oh shit, I found a seed, in the pocket of who I just ate,
And I'll never be able to plant it. Cruel fate.
Over time your mind begins to misbehave,
And your thoughts might wander to never being saved,
One more flare, One more fire, One more sign,
And why, was I left behind.
